Terms of Service

1. Services

Smith Appliance Repair provides appliance repair services for residential customers in San Diego County and Orange County, California. Our services include diagnosis, repair and maintenance of high-end kitchen appliances including Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, BlueStar and other premium brands.

2. Service appointments

• Appointments can be scheduled by phone on (949) 979-4880 or through our online booking form.
• A diagnostic service call fee of $89 applies to all appointments.
• The diagnostic fee is waived if you proceed with the recommended repair.
• We aim to offer same-day service where possible, subject to availability.

3. Pricing and payment

• All repair quotes are provided upfront, before work begins.
• We accept Cash, Check, Zelle, Venmo, Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay.
• 2.9% processing fee applies to card payments.
• Payment is due on completion of the service.

4. Warranty

• All repairs include a one-year warranty on parts and labor.
• Sealed system repairs may include extended warranties of up to five years.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents or unauthorised modifications.

5. Parts

We use only genuine, factory-approved OEM parts. We do not fit aftermarket or refurbished parts unless you specifically request it and we agree in advance.

6. Cancellation

Please give at least two hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Repeated no-shows may result in a service fee for future appointments.

7. Text messaging

Programme description. If you provide your mobile number when booking or enquiring, Smith Appliance Repair may send you text messages relating to your service — appointment confirmations, technician arrival updates, quotes, and follow-up after a repair.

Consent, frequency and cost. You opt in by giving us your mobile number when you book, call, text or submit our booking form. Message frequency varies and depends on your service activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Opting out and help. Reply STOP at any time to stop messages, or HELP for assistance. You can also call us on (949) 979-4880. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information, and mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Liability

Smith Appliance Repair is fully licensed and insured — California license #A50441. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions, manufacturer defects, or issues unrelated to our repair work.
