The condenser is behind a grille, so nobody sees it fill
A built-in draws its cooling air through a grille, and everything in the room’s air goes with it — dust, pet hair, and near the water, salt. The cabinet does not announce the blockage: it works harder and recovers overnight, so the complaint that arrives is that it only struggles in the afternoon.
A door seal fails by degrees, not all at once

The display is not a thermometer
