Not draining and not drying are two different machines failing in two different ways.
Premium dishwashers are quiet because they are heavily insulated and run long, low-energy cycles. That is also why faults hide: a machine that is not really cleaning is easy to blame on detergent for months.
Drain faults are mechanical — pump, check valve, or a blocked path. Drying faults on condensation-drying machines are usually the fan or its sensor rather than a heating element, because many of these machines do not have a drying element at all.
